and Campbell makes 4

So it's been wild around here the last few weeks. I'm attempting to get back in the baby groove, i.e. lack of sleep, arranging my schedule on a 2-3 hour time frame, juggling my mommy role with my wifely role, etc. Campbell is doing great. She fits right in and has been going with the flow fairly well. She's nursing like a champ, as evidenced by being almost a pound over her birth weight by the time she was 2 weeks old. She sleeps 4 hours at a time at night, which keeps me human! Jackson loves his sister. He has a fairly short attention span, even for her. So he'll give her hugs and kisses and then he's off to play! We haven't had any issues with him not wanting to share me or my time with Campbell, and he's continuing on with staying potty trained with minimal accidents. We've had a few incidents of him acting out, as we are all adjusting to having a baby in the house. One of which included him getting out of his bed during naptime, which he's never done before, and destroying his room. He emptied his book basket (around 50 books), he took everything off of his toy shelves, he rolled up a 5X8 foot rug and drug it across the room, he got in his closet and put Benedryl and hydrocortisone cream ALL over his face and arms....and got caught redhanded by me...standing on his laundry hamper playing with his CD player on his dresser! And he did this in a matter of 30 minutes while I foolishly took a catnap...that'll teach me!

Introducing Campbell Rose

We are happy to announce that our little girl, Campbell Rose, has safely arrived! She was born March 31st at 7:29am, weighing in at 7lbs 4oz and 20 inches long. Her delivery went pretty smoothly....no major surprises (which is they way I like things!) Jackson loves her and always wants to hold her and give her kisses...of course we haven't gone home yet, so we'll see if his adoration continues!
